CHILDREN’S MONTESSORI ACADEMY - TITUSVILLE

FLORIDA’S PREMIER MONTESSORI SCHOOL

With over 25 years of experience, our goal is to send each CMA-Titusville graduate into the world with an appreciation of learning that lasts a lifetime.

Our Mission

The primary goal of Children’s Montessori Academy is to give the child a strong basis in his or her formative years for developing into a well-rounded, responsible, independent and fulfilled adult while in a safe and encouraging environment. It is the belief of Children’s Montessori Academy that the Montessori Method provides a sensible balance between freedom and structure designed for the young child. Children’s Montessori Academy provides a pleasant environment with carefully devised materials that meet the child’s natural needs.

Our Methodology

Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning, and collaborative play. In Montessori classrooms, children make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the teacher offer age-appropriate activities to guide the process. Children work in groups and individually to discover and explore the knowledge of the world and to develop their maximum potential. Montessori methods and materials engage the child’s senses because Dr. Montessori observed that all learning from within the child comes through the senses. These carefully selected materials foster the process through which your child develops the love for learning, thereby fulfilling our educational promise for your child.
